"Design Disruptors" by InVision. A Documentary Featuring Creatives From The World's Most Innovative Companies
It is becoming increasingly commonplace to witness brand new, multi-billion dollar Unicorn startups and exponential organizations rival entire industries — industries in which the startup founders had never even previously worked. These new rivals don’t compete using larger, stronger teams of top industry producers. They break the rules of entire industries completely!
Their competitive advantage lies in their capacity to provide customers with an experience that, once felt, makes one question how they had ever once lived without it. This experience is accomplished through a design that permits an innately fluid interaction with a product or service. A design that invites gestures which can represent a multitude of human expressions that provide immediate, impeccable results.
InVision, the world’s leading product design platform behind leading Fortune 100 companies, including Disney, IBM, Walmart, and Apple, recently announced it’s upcoming feature-length documentary film, “Design Disruptors.”
“Design Disruptors” explores the most creative minds in a generation and how they use design to help people, businesses and society. Whereas art has meaning attributed to it by the “eye of the beholder,” design achieves meaning through function — artfully executed.
Premiereing at San Francisco’s landmark Castro Theatre this summer and screenings at 13 other major cities around the globe, “Design Disruptors” showcases how product design has become the most powerful competitive advantage for modern businesses. The film features interviews with design leaders from Airbnb, Facebook, Google Ventures, Netflix, Pinterest, Salesforce, Spotify, and Twitter who are refurbishing industries and setting new standards of normal.
